Welcome to this (almost) real-time visualization of twitter !
You can search terms on twitter, and observe the dynamic flow of worldwilde tweets that match these terms. Each particle represents a tweet colored according to its content. Use it to:

• keep up with the news: watch hot topics like Syria news, Israel and Palestine, Mali
• monitor the buzz on your brand (e.g. ), tv show (), name, company, favorite star
• to create battles between brands or terms; you can compare Apple vs. Microsoft, Android and Windows
• feel what twitter users care about: love, burgers, quotes, youtube, Facebook & Linkedin, retweets demands and follow recommandations; do they focuse more on love or money ? Past or future ?

This display relies on visual skills to provide a feeling on what happens on Twitter. Human brain is way too slow to read the worldwide tweets posted on a hot topic (such as Youtube and Facebook). But the virtual cortex has powerful skills that include the perception of motion (here, transmits how active a topic is) and visual categorization (colors facilitate the comparison of topics).

It is also a proof of concept, that relies on the latest innovations of HTML5, notably the canvas element.
